Hudson’s Bay Unveils The Designer Edit: New and International Brands to launch in-store and online for Fall 2019
Discover new arrivals in women’s and men’s apparel, footwear and accessories, plus an exclusive Scandinavian designer pop-up, beginning September 13 in-store and on thebay.com
TORONTO, ON - (Aug 22, 2019) – Fall is just around the corner and Hudson’s Bay is welcoming the season by introducing new international designer brands to select stores and on thebay.com. The new brands feature sought-after and emerging designers from around the globe and will showcase the best of the season’s must-have looks in men’s and women’s apparel, footwear and accessories. New arrivals will be available beginning September 2019 in select Hudson’s Bay stores and online, under a brand new designer section on thebay.com.

Women’s Fall Designer Styles
The new international brands feature a range of premium womenswear designers, including Amsterdam-based Les Coyotes de Paris, sustainably-minded and effortlessly femme Maggie Marilyn from New Zealand, Harris Wharf London’s reimagined classic wardrobe staples and New York’s Tibi, that elevates everyday workwear to new heights (all available in select stores and on thebay.com). In The Room, located at Hudson’s Bay’s Toronto Queen Street and Vancouver stores, new brands include London based Kwaidan Editions, Halpern, and ROKH, all launching in Canada exclusively. As well as French brands Ami, and Coperni, and New York based label Area. French fashion label ba&sh rounds out the selection with perfect for all occasions pieces (available in select stores and online).
Fashion-conscious Canadians will embrace the latest new arrivals in outerwear. Among the new designer collections from Italy is the near century-old, urban lifestyle brand Colmar. Also from Italy, Bacon contemporary outerwear and must-have puffa jackets (available in stores and online). Glow up and stay chic with NYC based, designed in Paris Apparis vegan faux fur selections or Perfect Moment skiwear, borne out of Chamonix, France (both available in select stores and on thebay.com). If it’s a parka you need to keep you warm during the tough northern winters, Hudson’s Bay is introducing collections from Canadian brands Nobis and Quartz Co.(both in store only).
Women’s designer footwear will also expand with stand-out international brands, all coming to Hudson’s Bay this fall. New arrivals from Diemme, out of Italy, will range from stylish sneakers to high-end city boots (in stores and online), or choose fellow Italian, and environmental visionary brand FW_D (in stores). Also from Italy, Marni footwear offers an avant-guard spirit that will be sure to delight (in stores). For those interested in London attitude and accessibility, Kurt Geiger offers this edgy blend in its collection and streetwear is at the forefront of Eytys range of footwear crafted in Sweden (in stores an online). New selections from Korean designer Yuul Yie will feature stylish, dress-up-dress-down options for any occasion (in stores and online). Polish designer Magda Butrym is also featured, with her collection that screams fierce and sophisticated (in stores). Couture collabs also makes an appearance with the creative elegance of the Coach x Tabitha Simmons collection (in stores and online). Not to be missed, 2019 is also the 50th anniversary of the timeless Moon Boot and Hudson’s Bay is featuring this far-out, iconic footwear with classic styles and new luxury versions to keep you toasty all winter long.
Nothing completes a stylish fall outfit more than a statement handbag and we’ve scoured the globe to bring some of the best designers to Hudson’s Bay and thebay.com. From France, Elleme brings meticulously-designed pieces taken from worldly inspiration, while Greece’s Kooreloo combines long-standing craftsmanship with natural materials to create must-have Euro chic style (both in stores and online). Manu Atelier, one of the oldest leather goods manufacturers in Turkey, creates exquisite bags, generations in the making, while The Volon, from South Korea, brings sophistication and reflection from architectural shapes and design inspirations (both in stores and online). Multi award-winning young fashion designer Sophia Webster brings her femme-sophisticated London bags to our designer showcase (in stores and online) as well as Italian lifestyle brand, Marni (in stores only). From the streets of Sweden, Axel Arigato luxury bags will also be on offer (in stores and online), as will pieces from STAND STUDIO, that honours the simplicity of pure leather in its collection (in stores only).
Men’s Fall Designer Styles
New men’s arrivals will also be front and centre this season. For fashion-forward fall streetwear and casual wear, Milan’s GDCSand Axel Arigato RTW from Sweden (both in stores and online) will be on offer, as well as romanticized rock n’ roll pieces from Belgium’s Ann Demeulemeester (in stores). Rounding out these selections are Rhude (in stores) and apparel from Canada’s DSquared2 (in stores and online).
Our designer men’s outerwear arrivals include London’s 49 Winters, as well as classic American heritage outdoor accessories brand Holubar (both available in stores and online). Outdoor-inspired apparel can also be found with Copenhagan-based contemporary lifestyle brand, Wood Wood (in stores and online). Combining superior technology, fit and comfort, look no further than winterwear from Nobis, with a selection of the brand’s classic styles (in stores only) as well as a special limited edition collaboration featuring Hudson’s Bay’s iconic stripes. The Scandinavian 7 Pop-Up Experience, Launching September 2019
Hot on the heels of Copenhagan Fashion Week, Hudson’s Bay presents the best from top Scandinavian designer brands for Fall ’19, almost all of which are available only at Hudson’s Bay. In addition to the brands featured in our designer collections above, an exclusive pop-up experience of select designers will launch in September 2019 at Hudson’s Bay Downtown Vancouver and Queen Street stores where fashion-seekers can revel in peeping the latest designs from the most sought-after fashion houses of the region.
Featured in the pop-up installations will be coveted designers, including powerhouse Danish fashion brands Baum und Pferdgarten and Ganni, Copenhagen’s Birgitte Herskind and Rotate Birger Christensen Sweden’s Axel Arigato and footwear brand Eytes (all also available on thebay.com) and STAND STUDIO.
