Marc J. Metrick

Marc J. Metrick is the CEO of Saks, the digital counterpart to Saks Fifth Avenue. He was appointed in March 2021, following a significant leadership tenure at Saks Fifth Avenue, which began in April 2015. In this role, Mr. Metrick leads Saks’ strategic efforts to expand its online experience and bolster its digital business.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Metrick held several leadership roles within HBC, including chief administrative officer and executive vice president and chief marketing officer. During his time at HBC, Mr. Metrick was instrumental in the company’s acquisition of Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as the strategic revitalization and elevation of the Saks Fifth Avenue brand and all-channel experience.
Mr. Metrick brings with him over 25 years of experience in retail, strategic development, merchandise planning, finance, and strategy – including a tenure at Saks Fifth Avenue as executive vice president and chief strategy officer.
Mr. Metrick has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Boston University.
